National Human Development Report 2003
January 22, 2014
The focus of the UNDP Human Development Report is on elaborating and refining the concept of human development and identifying its constituents in a global context, and defining the relevant measures, or indicators, and methodologies to be used for measuring progress achieved. Saudi Arabia’s National Human Development Report draws on the measures and indicators identified in the international report.
However, emphasis is placed in this national report on assessing the Kingdom's human development record, along with a commit-ment to objectivity and transparency, in order to establish a clear perspective of Saudi Arabia’s development process.
